It is a homage to places and symbols that play a special role in shaping Polishness and a sense of belonging. The feather-painted design of the scarf was created on paper and then transferred onto silk. It features 48 symbols strongly rooted in our national culture, such as the Warsaw Mermaid, the Katowice Spodek, the Gdańsk Shipyard, the majestic Giewont, and the Krakow Cloth Hall. Characters, buildings, places, plant and animal species, and shapes create a historical landscape. Each fragment of the scarf tells a beautiful story about where we come from and who we are. It is a story about us and our roots.
