Scarf and Shawl

Story 48.4

The hand-drawn design of the scarf and shawl was created on paper and then transferred to fine fabric. It features 48 symbols deeply rooted in our national culture, such as the Warsaw Mermaid, the Spodek in Katowice, the Gdańsk Shipyard, the majestic Giewont, and the Kraków Cloth Hall. Figures, buildings, places, plant and animal species, and shapes come together to create a historical landscape.

Each fragment creates a beautiful story about where we come from and who we are. It’s a story about us and our roots.

"Places play a special role in building beautiful memories. I believe that each of us will find a symbol or a place in the design that is particularly close to our heart. For me, it’s primarily a piece of Warsaw, which is my hometown," emphasizes the creator of the brand, Magdalena Mousson-Lestang.

4 symbols of luck

Four colorful symbols of luck, drawn from different cultures, reflect the brand's philosophy based on positive emotions and are very characteristic elements of the design. The Koi fish from Japan, the Scarab from ancient Egypt, the Butterfly from Greece, and the Dragonfly, regarded as a totem in America, all come together. The richness of these four elements, combined with deep red and broken white, make the scarf or shawl appear as an image capturing beautiful and cherished places, as well as symbols that bring luck.

Scarf Story 48.4

The scarf is made of wool and silk, making it perfect for colder days. Its larger size allows you to wrap yourself in it, drape it nonchalantly over your shoulders, or pair it with a winter coat.

Shawl Story 48.4

The noble material and the color scheme of the design make the shawl perfect as a bold accent to your outfit. Worn as a hair accessory or on a handbag, draped nonchalantly over the shoulders, or tied around the neck, it will be a beautiful addition full of symbolism. The Lilou shawl is made of silk, and its finish is hand-rolled.
